Our Headteacher's Message

I would like to extend a warm welcome to you from Mount View International Primary School and Early Years Centre. At Mount View we are committed and dedicated to the happiness and successes of the students that attend our school. Learning is a journey and a lifelong adventure and we endeavor to provide jeans each and every student with the skills, confidence and passion to pursue their interests and ambitions throughout their lives.
Our History
Mount View Primary School is the brain child of an amazing woman, the late Mrs. Sakker Sacranie. Mrs Sacranie passionately believed that the community both needed and deserved an International school that combined quality education at affordable costs. Mrs. Sacranie then set about convincing the then Head of State Dr. Kamuzu Banda and other prominent members of the community that the school was needed. The classes were initially held in large houses but in different locations. In 1968 the schools moved to our current location with all its infrastructure.
At the very beginning the institution was registered with the University of Cambridge Examinations. The test of time has been admirably withstood and Mrs. Sacranie’s vision is a perfect reality. We are now a fully-fledged international school following the Cambridge International Curriculum for Years 1 to 6, with our Year 6 students undertaking the Cambridge Check Point Exams each year.

Mount View International Primary School and Early Years Centre aspires to involve and inspire students to become lifelong learners within a safe, secure and caring environment, teaching them to value cultural diversity and care for our environment.

I had both my kids here, and loved it. Made it easy for us to meet a lot of amazing parents and kids. The school has such a home feel, and values a play based routine. It would be worth your time to visit this places.

Kindori is a wonderful nursery, my Son is so happy there and asks every day if he “is going to nursery today”, even on on weekends! The staff are so welcoming, very professional and highly experienced.
