Mount View Primary School is the brain child of an amazing woman, the late Mrs. Sakker Sacranie. Mrs Sacranie passionately believed that the community both needed and deserved an International school that combined quality education at affordable costs. Mrs. Sacranie then set about convincing the then Head of State Dr. Kamuzu Banda and other prominent members of the community that the school was needed. The classes were initially held in large houses but in different locations. In 1968 the schools moved to our current location with all its infrastructure. At the very beginning the institution was registered with the University of Cambridge Examinations. The test of time has been admirably withstood and Mrs. Sacranie’s vision is a perfect reality. We are now a fully-fledged international school following the Cambridge International Curriculum for Years 1 to 6, with our Year 6 students undertaking the Cambridge Check Point Exams each year.
