Mount View International School’s second annual swimming gala was a great success this week! Lower Primary and Upper Primary had glorious weather for their events and the children swam magnificently. It is so satisfying to see how improved their swimming has become. For the final day of our gala, the Elite Club races, the weather was not on our side! BUT our swimming team, Mr Maru and Ms Emmah, saw a break in the rain and we went for it! Despite challenging conditions our athletes swam like never before and put on a show for the whole school! A HUGE congratulations to all that competed across the three days, you should all be proud of yourselves! Thank you to our Swimming department, Sports department, and all the officials and grounds team that made this event possible. Lastly, a heartfelt thank you to our guests of honour, Mrs Bachir who joined us for the Elite Club races, and Mr Salim Karim from our board of governors who joined us for our Medal Ceremony and gave an inspiring speech.
